The command palette for Ableton Live

Konjure puts all of Live’s browser one shortcut away. Press ⌘K, type a few letters, hit return, and the device, plug-in or preset is on your selected track. No scrolling through folders, no dragging, no losing the idea you were chasing.
It’s the thing every code editor has had for years, and the thing you keep reaching for in Live without knowing it had a name. Now it has one: you ask, Konjure makes it appear.
Hands on the keys, head in the music. The palette opens right on top of Live, narrows down while you type, and gets out of the way the moment the device lands on your track.
Live never loses focus and your track selection never moves, so you can open it, add three effects in a row and keep playing. It’s the browser, minus the browsing.
Type “rev” and you get Reverb, not a reverse-cymbal sample from a pack you installed in 2016. Results come in the order you actually reach for them: audio effects, plug-ins, MIDI effects and Max for Live devices first, then presets, then sounds and samples.
Typos are forgiven (“hybrv” still finds Hybrid Reverb), folders and pack names are searchable, and whatever you load often floats to the top. Two devices with the same name from different packs? You’ll see both, and which pack each one comes from.
The same categories as Live’s browser, in the same order. Keep the palette lean with just devices, or throw in every sample you own. Tab jumps between categories without leaving the keyboard, and the list is read from your own Live, so your packs and plug-ins are all there.
The palette takes its colors straight from the themes installed with your copy of Live, down to the light-blue selection and the orange toggles. Dark, light, cool, warm, high contrast: pick the one you use in Live and it blends right in. Go on, click the swatches, then scroll back up.
It matches so well you’ll forget it isn’t an Ableton feature. It isn’t. We checked.
A tiny menu bar app and a script that lives inside Live. No accessibility permissions, no accounts, no tracking. ⌘K only belongs to the palette while Live is in front; everywhere else it’s yours again. And it searches tens of thousands of items faster than you can let go of the key.
That’s it. From then on it starts with your Mac, keeps its Live script up to date by itself and installs its own updates. You’ll only notice it when you press ⌘K.
